The Bamboo works fine for me – the Intuos is the pro version but costs a lot more. But definitely recommend a Wacom – you work a lot more quickly and intuitively – takes a bit of getting used to but well worth it. Plus using a mouse excessively will eventually lead to wrist and nerve damage.
