It seems so right that I do a quote about mothers this week (besides it being Mother’s Day on Sunday). I’m currently back home in Perth, staying with my parents in my childhood home where my mum is doting on me like I’m a kid again. I recently attended the funeral of the mother of a good friend of mine and I’ve also been spending time with my sister-in-law and two young nieces. So this week has been about loss, nostalgia and hope for the next generation of mothers and children, which is all represented in the comic I drew.
